Remnant is a collaborated effort between a group of men to serve God and draw people to Christ. On June 23, 2007, we decided it was time to take a step forward in faith. After some time, while known as The Remnant Band, we stumbled upon some luck, or shall we say divine providence. After many months of searching for a full time drummer, the Lord sent Jon to the group. Feeling some pressure to take it to the next level, we decided that it was the right idea to pursue a full time ministry. It's hard to ignore the pull on your heart that God tends to levy. With no plan of action or course to follow but the heart, we have ventured on a journey hoping that God will illuminate the path which we should take.
Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and word to a lost and dying world and to edify the body of Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 says this, "Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Hold Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of age." This is the mission that Remnant have set their sights on. We preach Christ crucified, buried, and resurrected and we stick to this message knowing that if only one person accepts Christ as a result of our ministry, it will have been worth it.
